Unlock Weapon Camos
Today, Treyarch developer David Vonderhaar announced on Twitter that all cosmetics in Black Ops 2 (weapon camo, facepaint etc) will be unlocked via challenges. In the previous game, the player unlocked these items by spending COD points. The tweet in question read:
All cosmetics, including weapon camo, are Challenge based. RT @D2ultimaIs camo tied to pure leveling? Or will it be challenge based.This will appease a lot of COD diehards, who felt that unlocking items via a currency system was too easy and that it lacked any real challenge.
